To be quite frank, one sentence promos are embarrassing for an e-fed, especially one which is thrives on the storylines created by it's members. We're currently in an era in the AWWE where Ant allows us to represent wrestlers and create stories for our characters through role-playing. Before we were given this opportunity, Ant simply created his own universe and wrote his own storylines. Allowing characters that would otherwise get overlooked in the WWE a chance to shine, a chance showcase their true potential.
We, as new representatives towards our favorite wrestlers, should feel honored to be given the opportunity to bring forth our own imaginations to his Universe.
One sentence promos don't showcase that effort to allow your wrestler(s) to shine. They feel like cop-outs, they feel like you don't really care about the e-fed itself, just about getting your wrestler in a match on the AWWE Confrontation card. An e-fed is more than just about your own character, it's about the interactions you have with your fellow role-players, creating stories that you could cherish for years to come.
Due to the limited match card in this year's Smackdown vs RAW 2011 game, we felt that we needed to create a set of rules to help shape what we want our AWWE role-plays to represent. We're not the best e-fed in the universe, but hopefully together we can create a community that's surely unique to the vast world of e-fed wrestling.
----------------------
Failure to follow these rules may result in your match not being put on the AWWE Confrontation match card. So please take them to heart.
I know it sounds like much, but trust me, once you get into the groove of things creating a story within your role-plays becomes second nature. If you're having trouble getting an idea for a role-play, please go the Role-Play Assistance board. It was created to help you, and your role-plays! It's why it's there.

- 1. The introduction to your role-play (the first post) must at least be a paragraph long.
The paragraph can range between four (4) to five (5) sentences. The introduction is the most important part of your role-play. You set up your location, the mood for your role-play, and most importantly, how your character feels. Without these key ingredients it's really difficult for your opponent to form a reply. - 2. The following post in that role-play must also be a paragraph in length.
It's not difficult to do, especially if the starter of the role-play gave you everything you needed to know: location, mood, and feeling. Why was your character in that location? What was your character doing? How does your character feel at that moment? What, where, when, and why, are four questions which could get your paragraph out of the way. - 3. After the initial two posts, you can may go back to doing one sentence replies in that promo.
The goal is for you and your opponent(s) to create a story. It's more than just setting up a match for AWWE Confrontation. Make that match mean something! Matches that actually have a purpose in progressing your storyline mean more than matches you create just so you have something to watch every Wednesday.
The moment you create a new promo, you must go back to Rules 1 and 2. - 4. Please only role-play for one match per character you have.
If you have two characters, please only role-play for two matches, one for each character. Due to the limited match card it wouldn't be fair if I had Maryse be in two matches for AWWE Confrontation (one for RAW and one for Superstars.) That could potentially rob Triple H of a match on RAW, especially if WFKkid wrote a really great promo. Think of more than just yourself, we aren't keeping track of win-loss records this season, so getting one of your characters in more than one match doesn't effect your ranking as much as you think it might. - 5. Please only role-play against wrestlers on your brand.*
Chances are, not every wrestler on your brand has a match that week. Challenge that wrestler. Challenging a wrestler that's not on your brand isn't fair to the person who's on your brand and doesn't have a match. It makes the brand your wrestler is on look extremely weak because you're looking for competition elsewhere. Show brand pride and wrestle other characters on your brand.
*Only if you're role-playing for AWWE Superstars are you allowed to have a cross-brand match against other characters.
