Hello my name is Leon, but you already knew that. I was thinking since pokemon is 12 days away and if you don't know what I mean...

Yes Pokemon Black and White officially makes its way into the states the right way ;D no pirates here.

But to the point of this Awesome thread, this will be sort of a Journal for Corn, Hida, and I to keep you guys all up to date with our journeys, pokemon, and overall progress in the game. Our trainer cards will be simple and should be easy to make hopefully XD but here is an example:

Don't want to get too complicated with it, so this will probably be all on it and as far as logging the info about the journeys to each his own. Meaning if a person does not want to talk about their progress then they don't have too if they don't want to update their team hell who cares XD. I just wanted to do something fun with Pokemon Black/White with my Forum buddies. If anyone else has a DS and likes or is interested in Pokemon join us anyone is welcome to join the party.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokemon! Welcome to the wonderful world of Pokemon! Welcome to the wonder--after soft-resetting for a good hour to get my female Snivy with a decent nature, my adventure into the English-translated world of Pokemon started! So far, the game has been really, really great and Team Plasma is really as cool as I thought they would have been. With only my imagination to use during my original play-through of the Japanese version of Pokemon Black, it was nice to see that Team Plasma with official English translations is really living up to my personal expectations. Out of my team of three so far, only Ouellet and Izumi are definite main-stays, Isabella is just a temporary Pokemon until I find something better. Isabella's pick-up ability is one of my favorite aspects of her, since she'll randomly pick up Hyper Potions, Ultra Balls, and the occasional Rare Candy as you have her in your party, and is a definite tool as your adventure continues. I might swap her in and out of my party as my adventure progresses. So far, I've beaten the first gym, which was pretty easy, especially with Izumi who pretty much just Water Gun'd everything to death, such awesomeness. Currently on my way to the second gym town, and just saved the little girl's Pokemon from the evil Team Plasma. LIBERATION!

Also, does anyone find it wrong to take the money from the pre-school children? Are we really so heartless to take their money after we beat them? T~T

Report!: Har har har...Ok so I began my journey with a bit of soft reseting also xD. Began with my Oshawott's turning out females like the first 3 times, then I finally get a male Oshawott catch 3 of the 5 planned pokemon then find out I have a crappy natured starter. Then I had to delete and start over allllll again over all I was dissapointed XD. But I managed to get back to where I was and finally begin my journey with my Fast moving low defensed Derp(Oshawott). I took down Brocks replacement in the anime with great balls of fire. And stomped the activities of the evil TEAM PLASMAAAAA. Also took down a crime syndicate of small men dressed as little making cra.... abusing pokemon ^__^. Overall I have no been disappointed by Pokemon Black it has been awesome.

Also many people are turning out to have the game now which I find whimsical. This has been Report 1.

Quick report, after spending two and a half hours finding the appropriate Drilbur, I finally caught one. The first one I caught had Calm nature, the second had Modest (which made me face palm, it's the complete opposite of the nature I desired), but the third one had an Adamant nature, which was what I was looking for. After training it to catch up with the rest of the team, I decided to go ahead and get my second gym badge last night. Lenora was a beast. @__@ I beat her on my first try but her Watchog fainted the majority of my team. Ouellet was the only one left standing, and took care of it pretty easily, but still. I wasn't expecting Lenora to be the force that she was, poor Isabella stood no chance.

Anyway, after I woke up this morning, I completed the "Get Dragonite's Skull from the evil Team Plasma!" quest, and I'm once again grinding my team, getting ready for the next gym.

Well I've been brought back into the exciting world of Pokemon and I gotta say, I'm enjoying it so far, and when I started it seemed okay. Meeting Professor Jupiter who's a hottie and of course your friends, so far both are kind of annoying to me, especially Bianca. For my starter I chose a Tepig and don't regret my choice as of now, after that I caught a Lillipup, and that also is another choice I don't regret. Lillipup's Tackle is just such a great move and that surprised the hell out of me, due to the many victories it has given me. The first gym battle surprised me at first but wasn't that much of a problem, the second also not that much of a problem, and the third was very easy due to my newly evolved Pignite at the time. The most recent would be the fourth gym, the leader is Elesa for that one, I did lose the first time, however due to the combined efforts of Flamey(Pignite) and my newly evolved Conkeldurr(Thanks Again Bread) I won.

Alright, another quick report. The bug gym was difficult for me, since at the time I didn't have my Emelia, so I didn't have any type advantages against his bug types. I did win on my first try however, but it was honestly pure luck, and the fact that Ouellett didn't faint from all the bug type maneuvers after the rest of the team fainted. After going through the desert and continuing to grind, I eventually started searching for Emolga, and it wasn't until this morning that I finally found a female Emolga with a reasonable nature. @__@ It was driving me insane, I was getting really impatient with the game. The fourth gym was really easy for me, Castagnoli was the shining star, taking down the majority of everyone's Pokemon. Now I'm making Emelia catch up with the rest of the team before I continue onwards with my adventure.
